Saturday, December 9th with professional photographer, Richard Sprengeler

1:30pm – 2:30pm

Photographer Richard Sprengeler will give a talk on his most recent project photographing St. Louis. He has spent the last two years photographing St. Louis with a variety of cameras, from an I-phone and 35mm digital to 4×5 and 8×10 inch view cameras. Topics will include 35mm shift lenses, view cameras, perspective control, viewpoints, lighting, photoshop techniques, and digital printing.

Richard Sprengeler, a professional commercial photographer since 1984, transitioned into his current specialty, architectural photography, in 2000.

His portfolio reflects the broad range of his considerable talent – digital and large-format, color and black-and-white – and his diversity of interests: from contemporary commercial buildings and historic monuments to landscapes, street scenes, abandoned cars, and rock formations.
