Black and White Post-Processing in Adobe Lightroom – The Next Level

Description: Over the course of 2 hours Jack Curran will share in complete detail his approach to Black and White post processing.

What you will learn?

  • Connecting your field vision to your execution of the Master Print File in Adobe Lightroom
  • Exploring your exposures, picking the working file and checking the range of light
  • Working with the big three tools in the develop module: the radial filter, the adjustment brush, and the graduated filter.
  • Using the Erasure tool and the Range Mask to control light
  • How, when, where and why to add clarity, contrast, texture and dehaze.
  • Working in steps and making virtual copies to help you analyze your progress
  • You will get a low-res working RAW file to work with on your own.
  • And finally, putting it all together.

Time: 2 hours

Jack Curran is a landscape photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. Jack has developed a deep and connected passion for the natural world and expresses this relationship through his genuine love of Black and White photography. For Jack, it’s all about the “Lure of Light”. Whether chasing the extreme light of a mountain storm or weathering the chill of a winter snow event, it’s all about chasing the light.
