Masterworks: Photographic History and the IPHF Collections, with Professor David R. Hanlon

Throughout its 55-year history the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum has honored those who have made great contributions to the field of photography and has sought to preserve historic photographs and cameras through its collections. David R. Hanlon, noted photographer and historian, will shares his insights into many of these Masterworks from IPHF’s latest exhibition.

David R. Hanlon’s photography concentrates on the characteristics and issues of landscape, architecture and portraiture. From 1990 – 2001 Hanlon was the chief photographer of the archaeological excavation at Tell Tuneinir in Syria. His photographs are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the University of Kentucky Museum of Art, and numerous private collections. David has taught at St. Louis Community College at Meramec since 1990.
