Approaching Portraiture, with Emily Moore
Portraiture grants us an opportunity to connect with ourselves and others. Without connection, a portrait will inevitably lack impact. In this lecture, Emily will give a broad overview of essential elements of strong fine art portrait photography, including theme or story, staging, lighting, posing, culling, retouching, and color grading and how these elements work together to create a cohesive, impactful, and timeless image.
Emily will discuss her approach to portraiture as a complete artistic process, much of which will also apply to fashion and conceptual photography.
