Establishing a Life in Photoshop – Digital Imaging Lessons with Michael Swoboda

Michael Swoboda has spent his career in education, commercial digital imaging, and graphic design. He has taught classes, delivered lectures, and created workshops at five colleges and universities and across the Midwest. Some of his clients include the University of Notre Dame and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies for which he has designed books, catalogs, brochures, and on-line media. In 2010, he was recognized and awarded by the American Association of Museums for two exhibition catalogs he designed, in 2016 was honored with the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award, and in 2020 was honored with the STLCC Faculty Lecture Award. Michael has taught at Meramec since 2000. His main teaching focus is digital imaging, computer illustration, digital photography, design history, and graphic design.
