MICHAEL W. WEISBROD

Michael W. Weisbrod is currently the Senior Gift Planning Officer at the Roman Catholic Foundation of Eastern Missouri.

Prior to joining the Foundation in 2015, he spent nearly 40 years in Asset Management with a focus on Charitable and Wealth Planning for high net-worth clients. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing for First Bank Wealth Management Group, and was previously with U.S. Trust, UMB Trust and U. S. Bank.

Michael is currently the Regional Co-Chair for the St. Louis Region of the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights Hospitaller.  Michael is the current Chair for the Prison Ministry Outreach Committee of the Order of Malta, American Association, Missouri Area.  Over the years, he has served as Board Chair for the St. Louis Planned Giving Council, Estate Planning Council of St. Louis, Craft Alliance, Arts and Education Council, St. Louis University Bequest and Gift Council, Children’s Hospital Foundation Advisors Committee, the International Photographic Hall of Fame and Museum and SSDN Early Education Center.  Additionally, he serves for a second time on the St. Louis Planned Giving Council Board as well as the boards of Shakespeare Festival of Saint Louis, Saint Louis Cathedral Concerts and PRC (Pallottine Renewal Center).

Michael received his B.A. in Architecture from Washington University in Saint Louis and his Trust Certification from Cannon Trust School.

A native St. Louisan, he lives in the Central West End.  He is an active member of the Cathedral Basilica Parish where he served as the Chair of the Parish Council, manages the Men’s Adoration program, heads the Stewardship Committee, and sits on the Finance Committee.  But the most important aspect of his life is that he enjoys being a grandfather and spending time with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandson!
